Model 140 Salvage Winder

The Model 140 high-speed salvage slitter rewinder provides an effective solution for reworking otherwise unshippable rolls off large slitters. This machine handles rolls up to 50″ in diameter on the unwind and rewind and runs very narrow to very wide widths of material. With its slitting capabilities, the 140 can also be used as a conventional production slitter. Other capabilities include splicing, inspection, bidirectional winding, automatic tension control, speeds to 2500 fpm, and easy roll loading and unloading. Applications for the 140 include label stock and materials ranging from lightweight sensitive films to heavy paper laminates. This versatile salvage winder not only reduces waste, it also eliminates the need to rework rolls on primary machines, saving valuable production time.
