Laminating

Catbridge offers a variety of web laminating systems including dry-bond, thermal, ultrasonic, and spray laminating. These laminating systems adhere two or more web substrates together for finished products ranging from performance films to paper-foil laminations to nonwovens filtration media. We engineer our systems for specific customer products and processes, operating conditions and preferences. Starting with our highly-productive winders and unwinds, we can add and arrange various components, carefully integrating all elements to ensure a webpath optimized for ergonomics, performance, and ease of maintenance. Laminating can be part of a converting process line or an added function for a stand-alone slitter rewinder. We also custom engineer lab lines for testing various adhesives and application methods.

For existing process lines, we supply components such as continuous turret winders, accumulators, and unwinds. We work closely with our customers to make sure the components are seamlessly integrated in the production line. Specialized component features such as advanced tension control systems and turret roll envelopers help produce top-quality, consumer-ready finished rolls.
