Nobelus Expands Film Converting with Catbridge Model 900 Duplex

Nobelus, a leading film and laminate supplier serving the commercial print, flexible packaging, and prime label markets, has expanded its converting capabilities with the installation of a Catbridge Model 900 Duplex Slitter Rewinder at its Elgin, Illinois, facility. The addition supports Nobelus’ continued growth while reinforcing its focus on efficiency, throughput, and customer responsiveness.

The Catbridge Model 900 is a high-capacity, automated slitting system designed for demanding film applications. Capable of handling web widths up to 84 inches and operating at speeds of up to 2,500 feet per minute, the system is engineered to support high-volume production while maintaining precise tension control and consistent roll quality. Its ability to process larger and heavier rolls enables Nobelus to increase output while streamlining material handling and changeovers.

Catbridge Machinery, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, is widely recognized for its application-driven engineering approach and custom slitting and converting solutions. The Model 900 is designed for film and flexible packaging environments where uptime, accuracy, and repeatability are critical.
