Submicron Material Produced on Catbridge BMF Line
High Marks in Recent Third-Party Testing
Catbridge has made a sub-micron meltblown material on its BMF production line. This material, generated at standard commercial production rates, received high marks in recent testing. A third party laboratory tested the sub-micron material using TEM (transmission electron microscopy) analysis.
Sub-micron meltblown is particularly well suited for making high-performance filtration media. The Catbridge meltblown line produces the sub-micron material using its standard die configuration. No retooling is necessary. The shape and style of the Catbridge die allow for greater fiber attenuation compared to other designs.
