Model 140-45 Salvage Winder

The Model 140-45 high-speed salvage slitter rewinder provides an effective solution for reworking otherwise unshippable rolls off large slitters. It handles rolls up to 45″ in diameter on the unwind and rewind. With narrow slitting capability, this machine can also be used as a conventional production slitter. Besides offering various slitting, splice and inspection capabilities, the 140-45 salvage winder provides bidirectional winding, automatic tension controls, speeds to 1800 fpm, and easy roll loading and unloading. The 140-45 runs very narrow to very wide widths and handles labelstock as well as materials ranging from lightweight sensitive films to heavy paper laminates. The 140-45 can help not only reduce waste but also eliminate the need to rework rolls through a wider full web slitter, saving valuable production time on primary machines.
