Catbridge builds innovative,
durable paper converting machinery that significantly increases productivity
and roll quality. Our various slitter rewinders and unwinds expertly handle all
types of paper applications, including tissue, toweling, coated and uncoated
papers, laminations, label stock and paperboard. We build models for web widths
from 20" to 220" (508 - 5580 mm) and roll diameters from small to
mill size. Our paper converting machinery includes two-drum surface winders,
center winders, turret winders, duplex winders, and unwind stands.
Unique features and advanced
technologies set Catbridge machines apart. Our surface winders, for example,
incorporate patented knife placement systems that greatly reduce setup times
and significantly improve cut accuracy, consistency, and repeatability; a dual
bowed roll system that optimizes web control and stabilizes tension for uniform
slit separation, even on narrow cuts; and a precise, intuitive control system
with remote support. To further improve performance, we have developed features
for specific materials and processes. For coated papers, for instance, we offer
a specialized web path that minimizes dust creation. We tailor every standard
machine we build to your exact needs. We also design all types of custom
slitter rewinders and unwinds.
