Catbridge two-drum surface winders increase slitter rewinder production while providing more consistent roll quality and reducing waste. Different models are available for small, medium and large roll diameters and each is optimized to most efficiently handle the maximum finished roll diameter. Two-drum surface winders can achieve excellent control of roll density for heavier materials such as paperboard. These slitters can also be configured to expertly handle materials ranging from very lightweight nonwoven fabrics to coated and uncoated papers, tissue and toweling, and some laminates.
